I am really excited to find a new great go to local place!!I’ve been wanting to try it ,and finally did , and I’ve picked up at least 6 times during these quarantine days!!Chris has taken really good care of me, he’s really nice , very professional, and has even noticed my beginning orders of always pizza and a really yummy Caesar salad , have been branching out with new pasta orders, which by the way are amazing!!Every single item I have tried has been exceptional, and I’m a super picky eater, so I am happy to write this five star review, to my new favorite go to restaurant !!
If you blink, you will miss this great pizza spot. It is located below a condominium complex facing the AMC Marina del Rey shopping plaza. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot behind the shop and the nearby plaza parking lots. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the night we dined there they were playing Italian classics such as Bicycle Thieves projected on a wall.
Now for the food, the pizza was amazing, it was great and Neapolitan style. There were toasted areas of the pizza that let you know that their oven is fired up to the correct temp. They have a great selection of salads and side dishes that will satisfy anyone. Over all this is a hidden gem in the Marina del Rey area.
The calzone is the best have has outside of Europe! I get serious cravings for it on the regular, it’s that good! Service is great, prices are more than fair and portions are very generous. Food is made to order quickly, you can taste the quality of their ingredients. Very clean and well-maintained restaurant, ideal for take away as well. I love their salads and pizzas, but the calzone is my go to. Highly recommend!
My new favorite restaurant in the Marina! Took the family to Midici on a Friday night and it was busy but we were seated promptly. If you can, enjoy the seating outside on the couches. It’s fantastic! The pizzas were great, I had the Hawaiian and I tried my wife’s pesto pizza. The staff is working hard to make it a premier location in the Marina. I got lucky and a few friends came in unexpectedly and it really is a great place to hang out and chat. One of the cool things about the restaurant is that the owner is super engaged with the customers and wants the experience to be memorable. He was around making sure everybody was fine and having a great time. I will definitely go back!
I had the veggie pizza ( no olives ) extra fresh mozzarella, side of chili oil
The pizza was soooooo good I mean nothing even spectacular about it oh wait, THE CHILI OIL!! Don’t forget the chili oil. It added a newborn kick to the pizza. The flavors all together just meshed so well, the crust I sprinkled chili oil on and thought Jesus already came back and I was in my glorified body!!
I was first impressed by the cleanliness of this restaurant. The men’s restroom was gorgeous.
The 10$ lunch special was ready in less than 5 minutes, it included a side salad and a drink.
All the staff was attentive and passionate about their food and the presentation of it. To me presentation is much more than a pretty plate. It’s the experience & how you’re treated at every stage of the restaurant.
I have high standards and I have to say that MidiCi holds up to “all” of my expectations in what makes a “great dining experience.”

Everything on the menu is delicious and fresh. The portion size is perfect. The service is great, everyone is always helpful and attentive. It’s a friendly and positive environment.
I love the ambiance and interior of this restaurant. It’s beautifully decorated and clean. They also have a nice outdoor patio in case you prefer sitting outside or if you want to bring your dog.
The music is always amazing, there is such a feel good vibe here.
Also, it’s easy to find free parking.

The moisture and aroma of the wood allows the crust to maintain its internal softness, as well as ensuring large bubbles inside the dough, and the typical aroma of cooked bread. All of these are hallmarks of true Neapolitan Pizza. Our oven were handbuilt by a third-generation family company in Naples. Complied to the most detailed constructive rules and lengthy process, our oven is unique because it's made exclusively by hand, from raw materials like sand and stone harvested in Naples. Weighing 7200 pounds, our oven burns at the dome at about 1000º Fahrenheit, the temperature needed to bake Neapolitan Pizza to perfection in just 90 seconds.
