What People Have to Say About Us
My new favorite restaurant in the Marina! Took the family to Midici on a Friday night and it was busy but we were seated promptly. If you can, enjoy the seating outside on the couches. It's fantastic! The pizzas were great, I had the Hawaiian and I tried my wife's pesto pizza. The staff is working hard to make it a premier location in the Marina. I got lucky and a few friends came in unexpectedly and it really is a great place to hang out and chat. One of the cool things about the restaurant is that the owner is super engaged with the customers and wants the experience to be memorable. He was around making sure everybody was fine and having a great time. I will definitely go back!
The calzone is the best have has outside of Europe! I get serious cravings for it on the regular, it's that good!
Service is great, prices are more than fair and portions are very generous. Food is made to order quickly, you can taste the quality of their ingredients. Very clean and well-maintained restaurant, ideal for take away as well. I love their salads and pizzas, but the calzone is my go to. Highly recommend!
I'm sorry, but I love MidiCi. The pizza is so pure to the Neapolitan tradition. The margarita is incredible and honestly one of the best margs I've had in the US. The Chicken Pesto is also an all time favorite. The LA pizza scene is exploding and while I appreciate that MidiCi isn't a local one-off, this location sets itself apart and can hold its own with the best of LA. Don't be fooled by the location, the pizza is fire, but they also have a full bar, great staff and live music a few nights a week.
I had this pizza delivered and I must say it is excellent Neapolitan pizza for Los Angeles. The cheese was fantastic and in an appropriate amount, and the mix of vegetables they chose for the From The Garden pizza were flavorful and unique from the average "veggie" default.
The only knock on it is the price -- this relatively small pizza was over $15 which felt a bit steep for what it was. The quality was there, but the value really wasn't and it wasn't good enough for me to re-order given that.

Neapolitan pizza is art. So are the ovens that bake it. The wood-fired oven is a key element in the baking of Neapolitan Pizza. The moisture and aroma of the wood
